    Room has too many bugs for me to sleep in the room I have already reported this issue to priceline and extended stay hotel. I am currently staying in my car in the hotel parking lot. I am very unhappy with the result of my reservation. I do not have the money to book a room at another hotel. I have pictures and a cup of bugs that i killed in the room and on the bed. I have never experienced such an ordeal before in my life. It is very cold out here in my car. I can believe i am forced to sleep in my car.

    To whom it may concern,

    I am emailing in regards to my experience with Extended Stay America. I recently stayed at one of your properties in Wilkes-Barre with my fiancé. He left booking the hotel up to me. As I looked into the area I found hotels of a much cheaper price in the area but decided to stay loyal and stay at the Extended Stay America which I have stayed at with my parents numerous times and have been pleased. As I entered the property I was not impressed. The hotel was not what I expected and am use to, but we were only staying the night so I let it go. There was nobody at the desk I had to press 0 on a phone at a table in the lobby and wait. When someone finally came I checked in. I entered the room quickly and it was mediocre but we scrambled to get ready and head out to the casino.
    When returning from the casino I called down and asked for late check out so we were not driving hours back to new york exhausted. I was prompted that I would have to pay the entire next nights stay to do so. I have never heard of such a thing just to say another hour. I went to brush my teeth and the faucet released brown dirty water. I was repulsed I brushed my teeth that night and morning with a water bottle and refused to shower. The heat was extremely dry, the air was extremely loud. I slept miserably and couldn’t wait to leave.
    The website instructed hot continental breakfast but was informed it was only granola bars and water. Upon checking out someone was in front of me for a 42 night stay. As I was frustrated from waiting I just left and didn’t bother reporting my issues because the staff did not seem to care too much. On the way home I decided to call the corporate number. I was on hold for 45 minutes before someone picked up and then accidentally hung up. Then I called back in hopes of reaching someone and I did approximately 30 minutes later. After speaking with the customer representative I felt better they informed me someone from corporate would contact me.
    The next day the manager from that specific hotel called me. Informed me that they were sorry but the building had actually been shut down and they did “not get to every room to test the water and let it run”. In my opinion that is extremely unprofessional and they should not only inform their consumers that they were shut down but they should go out of their way to make sure every room is up to par. The manager was nice enough to offer me a free stay if I “ever was in the area”. As much as I appreciated the gesture, but as I expressed to him, if I ever returned to that area I would never pay $140 to stay at such a mediocre unkept hotel.
    I wanted to express as a loyal Extended Stay America consumer I was extremely disappointed with not only the service and hotel, but the lack of compensation for my difficulties. I was hoping for a partial/full refund or possible night stay at another hotel in the future (definitely not in that area).
