On 6/17 I checked into the Fairfield Inn in St George. I was tired from driving and the clerk charged me for a walk in room but I had already booked a room online weeks previously. I didn’t notice the error until after reviewing my credit card statement some time later. I called the hotel and talked to a gentleman who said the clerk should have caught the double booking when he entered my name and credit card number. He apologized and said I would see a refund within 4-5 days. Weeks went by with no refund.
On 8/30 I called the hotel again and talked to Brenda who saw that I had called earlier but that the refund hadn’t been cleared through management. She said she would personally stand at the desk to make sure it was completed that day. I still have not seen a refund.
If the refund is not going to be issued I would like to know so I can dispute the charge with the credit card company. I think this is poor public relations at the hotel management level. We liked our stay with the hotel but with this fiasco i’m not sure I want to stay there again.
I checked in Kennett Square hotelFairfield inn on Saturday Jan 13 2018 with two disabled kids and three other kids the old is eight years old the pool was freezing cold the pool area was not warm so I checked out in three hours talk to the hotel talk to the care specialist she stated she was going to get back to me have not heard from anyone have been going to these hotels for years will never return
